Who We Are
When I started writing this introduction, my husband told me not to make it sound to “woo woo”. Although I’m not going to suggest chanting or running around the woods barefoot too many times, I am going to be talking about positive psychology, the power of inspirational words and images and why nutrition is so important in our all aspects of our lives.
As Hippocrates said 2,500 years ago “The right amount of nourishment and exercise, not too little, not too much, is the safest way to good health!”
Positive mindset in words and pictures has been around for a millennia or two. Many of the original cave drawings were created to bolster up the confidence of the menfolk before they left on a hunting mission to kill a wholly mammoth or two!
Added to our mental defences, we also need to fuel our bodies with the right food. What we eat actually becomes ‘us’! I know that might sound freaky, but the food we consume makes the cells of our body, which is what we are made of. At the last count the human body is made of approximately 75 trillion human cells and 100 trillion bacterial cells.
So it is vital that we put in the best raw ingredients to be our healthiest selves!
To complete the picture we also need to have adequate rest and recuperation to allow the mind and body to recharge the batteries and come out filled with vitality day after day.

Inspiring Quote
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.
